Highlights:

Day Trip to Delos:

For history and archaeology buffs, a day trip by boat from Mykonos to the nearby island of Delos is a must. Delos was a sacred island in ancient Greece and was believed to be the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Today, Delos is an archaeological site. Here you can explore the ruins of temples, houses, and theaters dating back to the 7th century BC.

Beach Parties:

Several beaches on the island have become especially popular for partying and nightlife. Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach are some of the most popular party beaches, with several bars and clubs, sunbeds, and umbrellas for daytime relaxation. These beaches are the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while listening to music and dancing under the stars. In addition, many beach parties are organized during the summer with famous DJs and live performances, making them a great place to party the night away.

Architecture:

Mykonos' whitewashed houses and windmills are essential to the island's aesthetic and cultural identity. The village of Mykonos is characterized by traditional Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed houses with blue windows and doors and walls covered with bougainvillea. The windmills, another iconic symbol of the island, are a reminder of the island's past as an important milling center.
